Tips on Searching

The following are tips on how to search for information regarding licensed dealers and salesmen as well as registered development schemes.

Dealers And Salesmen

Search By Name

To search for a dealer/salesman by name please proceed as follows:

• For an individual: if you know the first name and the last name of the person, type the last name followed by a comma then a space and then the first name, then click search.   

If you know only a part of the name, you can type either the first name or the last and the system will search for all occurrences of the part you entered after you click search.

• For a company (Dealers only) : if you know the name of the company in its entirety you may type it in and click search.  If not, you may type only a part of the name which will result in all occurrences of the part you entered.

Example:

If you wish to search for John Brown Company Limited and type John Brown Company Ltd or John Brown Co. Ltd you would get the message: No record found.

NB.  Abbreviations can only be used if it is a part of the registered name.

Search By Trading Name (Dealers only)

If you know the trading name of the individual or company in its entirety you may type it in

and click search.  If not, you may type only a part of the name which will result  in all occurrences of the part you entered.

Search By Parish

To see dealers/salesman who practise in a particular parish, select the desired parish from the list and click search.

Search By Area(s) of Practice

Select the area of practice by clicking on the box which relates to the area you desire, and click search.  You can also select multiple areas of practice.

The result of the search will list dealers/salesmen in all parishes who have one or all areas of practice selected.

If you wish to narrow the search to only one parish, you can do so by selecting the desired parish from the list of parishes.

Development Schemes

Search By Developer’s Name

To search for a developer by name please proceed as follows:

• For an individual: if you know the first name and the last name of the person, type the last name followed by a comma then a space and then the first name, then click search.

If you know only a part of the name, you can type either the first name or the last

and the system will search for all occurrences of the part you entered after you

click search.

• For a company: if you know the name of the company in its entirety you may type it in and click search.  If not, you may type only a part of the name which will result in all occurrences of part you entered.

Search By Development Location Address

• If you know only a part of the address, you can type either the street/lot number, the name of the street, or town and the system will search for all occurrences of the part you entered after you click search.

Example:

If you wish to find a scheme on Dominica Drive and you don’t know the street number, just enter Dominica Drive and the system will search for all occurrences of Dominica Drive.

The search may also be narrowed by selecting a parish.

Search By Volume and Folio Number

If known, you may enter the volume and folio numbers of the scheme you desire. 

The combination of volume and folio numbers is unique to a scheme, and as such when these numbers are used to search, the result should return ONLY one record. The exception is when a scheme is broken into phases which will result in each phase having the same combination of volume and folio.

Search By Estimated Date of Completion

This option will return all schemes that are slated for completion within the period entered.
